About
Handmade ceramics inspired by the ocean,
crafted on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Coast & Clay is a one-person studio where each piece is designed to bring a touch of the sea into daily rituals.
I create in small batches, focusing on timeless forms and subtle, ocean-inspired details.
My Story
My ceramics journey began with a deep love for the coast and a growing awareness of the impact we have on our oceans. A turtle found with plastic in its stomach sparked my commitment to sustainability — and became the heart of Coast & Clay.
Working from my home studio in Mona Vale, I throw, carve, and glaze each piece by hand. Every mug, bowl, and cup.
How I Work
I use eco-friendly materials, recycle my clay and water, and keep production small to minimise waste.
Each piece is unique, intended to be used and loved for years — not just displayed. My aim is to create ceramics that feel good in your hands and do good for the planet.
Giving Back
Ocean care is at the core of what I do. I regularly take part in beach clean-ups and donate a portion of profits to ocean conservation organisations.
These include Take 3 for the Sea, Surfrider, and the Australian Marine Conservation Society.
